Bridal sessions are one of my favorite things to photograph. Wedding days are fun but they are scheduled fun. You rarely have as much time as you would like. That’s not as much the case with a bridal session. Besides the brutal Alabama heat or the clockwork afternoon thundershowers around here we usually aren’t terribly rushed when it comes to these.
I’ve known Melessa for a long time. When you grow up in a town the size of Athens, Alabama there are a lot of people that you have “known for a long time” but nevertheless it always helps when my clients know me and trust me.
Special thanks to Scott at Willis Gray for helping us out with the bouquet….it was perfect!
Shots like this one won’t necessarily make the final cut in a bridal session because they don’t show the dress….but I love it anyway.
I had this next image printed as a 20×30 gallery wrap canvas for my studio before Melessa had even picked her favorite to be printed! This wound up being her favorite too.
It looks even better hanging on the studio wall without my head sticking out of the top of it…..and how ’bout that iPhone image quality?
We shot this last image as a rain storm set in….we rushed the bride back inside and we were finished!
